Duration and itinerary
This tour lasts for 8 hours.
9 am
Welcome and introduction to the buggy at the base in Sibiu.
10 am - 1 pm
Up the mountains on dirt roads and 2-way tracks, through forests and over deep green meadows.
1 - 2 pm
Lunch break
2 - 5 pm
Over pefect buggy trails and dirt roads down the mountains and back back to the base where we started the tour.
Tour program
Introduction to the Buggy at the World Buggy Tours Base in Sibiu next to the old town.From the base we ride all offroad over meadows and forests behind Sibiu up to the mountains south to Sibiu to peaks with perfect views over the Carpathian Mountains and the deep valleys.
For lunch we stop for approx. 1 hour in a nice mountain restaurant.
After the lunch we ride approx 3 hours over perfect buggy trails back to the base in Sibiu.
This tour is designed so that even novice drivers and drivers with medium level skills enjoy the tour.
We ride in the picturesque parts of the Sibiu Mountains. This day offers the best landscapes round Sibiu - you will fall in love with this location..
Difficulty level
Our tour guides ensure that your Buggy driving level is accommodated during the rides - the difficulty can be easy to medium with some more difficult sections in the higher parts of the trail for more experienced drivers. We have different routes in place for less experienced and extreme riders.
Best time for this Buggy Adventure
The best time for the Dracula Trail is mid of April to October.
Travel and airport transfer
You will be picked up at the Sibiu Airport and transferred to the hotel and back to the airport on departure.

Management of the tour
A tour manager will be available for the whole duration of this tour. You can turn to him regarding any questions, information, or issues.Buggies, fuel and equipment
A rental Buggy and fuel is in the tour price included. On this tour we will mainly use small Buggies, 2-seaters like the best in class Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail. The Buggies are equipped with 3-point seat belts and roll bar. They have a luggage rack to transport your personal items. A driving license B is mandatory on this tour.
Single use of the Buggy
The tour price bases on a shared use of a 2-seater Buggy. A single use can be booked as extra.
Participation with your own Buggy or ATV
A participation with your own Buggy is possible on this tour. Please contact us for details.Accompanying persons
To take an accompanying person with you in the buggy requires to book a seat for the accompanying person.
Technical support
On this tour, a service car is available on call.
Damages on the Buggy
We do not charge for normal wear of the Buggy (like light scratches on the plastics). On this tour an insurance (CDW – 'Collission Damage Waiver) with a deductible of 250 EUR is available which covers damages on the Buggy. See the terms of business for details.
Equipment and gear
A helmet and goggles are mandatory and can be ordered as extra.
We recommend for this tour a good rain jacket, outdoor pants and waterproof hiking or outdoor shoes and ideally bicycle or motocross gloves.
