Duration and itinerary

This tour lasts for 2 days with 2 days of Buggy riding in 2 stages.

Day 1

Welcome, briefing and introduction to the Buggy before we leave Sibiu. After a lunch break in the fortified church in Biertan we will reach the Dracula Castle in the late afternoon giving you plenty of time to explore the castle before dinner.

Day 2

We leave early the Dracula Castle and stop in Veseud11 the most quiet place on earth for lunch before we ride the last part of the tour back to Sibiu. De-briefing and Good Bye.

Tour program

The Dracula Adventure Weekend Tour goes over 4 days with 2 days of Buggy riding in stages.

Day 1 - arrival

Airport Sibiu pickup and welcome by the tour manager

Day 2 - stage 1

9 am
Briefing and introduction to the Buggy.
10 am - 5 pm
Riding from Sibiu to the Dracula Caslte in Sighisoara where we stay over night.

Day 3 - stage 2

9 am
Briefing for the day
9:30 am - 5 pm

Riding back to the base in Sibiu. De-briefing and Good Bye.

Day 4 - departure

Transfer to the Sibiu Airport.

Difficulty level

Our tour guides ensure that your Buggy driving level is accommodated during the rides - the difficulty can be easy to medium with some more difficult sections in the higher parts of the trail for more experienced drivers. We have different routes in place for less experienced and extreme riders.

Best time for this Buggy Adventure

The best time for the Dracula Trail is mid of April to October.

Travel and airport transfer

You will be picked up at the Sibiu Airport and transferred to the hotel and back to the airport on departure.

Accommodation and board

On this tour accommodation with breakfast and dinner is included.

Luggage transport between the stages

You take your personal items with you in the buggy while your luggage is transported in the service car to the hotels.

Not included

Individual arrival and departure, transportation to and from the Buggy Adventure Base, CDW (insurance for the damages on the Buggy), lunch, drinks, personal insurance, insurance and travel cancellation cover.

Management of the tour

A tour manager will be available for the whole duration of this tour. You can turn to him regarding any questions, information, or issues.

Buggies, fuel and equipment

A rental Buggy and fuel is in the tour price included. On this tour we will mainly use small Buggies, 2-seaters like the best in class Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail. The Buggies are equipped with 3-point seat belts and roll bar. They have a luggage rack to transport your personal items. A driving license B is mandatory on this tour.

Single use of the Buggy

The tour price bases on a shared use of a 2-seater Buggy. A single use can be booked as extra.

Participation with your own Buggy or ATV

A participation with your own Buggy is possible on this tour. Please contact us for details.

Accompanying persons

To take an accompanying person with you in the buggy requires to book a seat for the accompanying person.

Technical support

On this tour, a service car is available on call.

Damages on the Buggy

We do not charge for normal wear of the Buggy (like light scratches on the plastics). On this tour an insurance (CDW – 'Collission Damage Waiver) with a deductible of 250 EUR is available which covers damages on the Buggy. See the terms of business for details.

Equipment and gear

A helmet and goggles are mandatory and can be ordered as extra.

We recommend for this tour a good rain jacket, outdoor pants and waterproof hiking or outdoor shoes and ideally bicycle or motocross gloves.

Payment conditions 

Deposit 600 EUR at booking. The remaining rest is required 60 days before tour start
