On this 6-days adventure tour with 4 days of Buggy riding in stages you ride in the high Carpathian Mountains in a roundtrip. One of the highlights is the ride on the old Kings Road and the overnight stay in the ski region in 1.800 meters.

Tour program

The Kings Trail goes over 6 days with 4 days of Buggy riding in stages.

Day 1
Arrival in Sibiu, airport pickup and transfer to the hotel, welcome and short orientation by the tour manager. Free time for a city walk. At the dinner in a restaurant in the old town you will get to know the group and you will get a briefing about the next days on tour.

Day 2 - stage 1
Leaving Sibiu and overnight stay in the Sadu Valley

Day 3 - stage 2
The old Kings Road

Day 4 - stage 3
To the lake in 2000 meters and the ski area 

Day 5 - stage 4
Back to Sibiu through the Sadu Valley

Day 6
Departure. Good Bye.

Difficulty level

Our tour guides ensure that your Buggy driving level is accommodated during the rides - the difficulty can be easy to medium with some more difficult sections in the higher parts of the trail for more experienced drivers. We have different routes in place for less experienced and extreme riders.

Best time for this Buggy Adventure

The best time for the Kings Trail is End of May to October.

Travel and airport transfer

You will be picked up at the Sibiu Airport and transferred to the hotel.

Luggage transport between the stages

You take your personal items with you in the buggy while your luggage is transported in the service car to the hotels.

Not included

Management of the tour

A tour manager will be available for the whole duration of this tour. You can turn to him regarding any questions, information, or issues.

Buggies, fuel and equipment

A rental Buggy and fuel is in the tour price included. he Buggies are equipped with 3-point seat belts and roll bar. They have a luggage rack to transport your personal items. A driving license B is mandatory on this tour.

Single use of the Buggy

The tour price includes the rental of the buggy for single or double use.

Participation with your own Buggy or ATV

A participation with your own Buggy is possible on this tour. Please contact us for details.

Accompanying persons

To take an accompanying person with you in the buggy requires to book a seat for the accompanying person.

Technical support

On this tour, a service car is available on call.

Damages on the Buggy

We do not charge for normal wear of the Buggy (like light scratches on the plastics). 

Equipment and gear

A helmet and goggles are mandatory and will be provided.

We recommend for this tour a good rain jacket, outdoor jacket and pants and waterproof hiking or outdoor shoes and ideally bicycle or motocross gloves.

Payment conditions 

Deposit 1000 EUR at booking. The remaining rest is required 60 days before tour start
