Volcanoes bubble, geysers gush and glaciers slowly slice their way through the craggy mountains. As you make your way across these vast and sparsely populated landscapes, you’ll feel a sense of awe at the power of nature.

Duration and itinerary

This tour lasts for 7 days, with 5 days of riding. The package includes 6 overnight stays including breakfast, lunch snacks and dinner. There is no rest day during the stages of the trail. 

We have set the itinerary so that we are not under pressure from limited time and have flexibility on our day-to-day routes. We will have overnight stays in a variety of unique hotels, eat what our own cook will make for us and visit the best spots in Iceland we can reach on this trip. The schedule also provides plenty of time in the evening to eat, drink, and be merry! 

This beautiful adventure will occur as follows:

Day 1 – arrival in Reykjavik

Day 2 – 6 Iceland Adventure Trail in 5 stages

Day 7 -  departure from Reykjavik

Difficulty level

Our tour guides ensure that your riding level is accommodated during the rides - the difficulty will be easy to medium. Beginners and less-capable drivers will get a sound introduction to the buggy and we will not rush you until you got used of the driving a buggy.

Best time for this trail

Ideal weather conditions occur in August and beginning of September.

Travel

You arrive at Reykjavik Airport and take a taxi to your hotel (not included), where you'll spend the first night. At the end of the tour, we'll stay overnight in Reykjavik. You'll take a taxi to the airport at your preferred time (not included).

Accommodation and board

The first and last night we will stay in Reykjavik, during the 5 stages we will stay in 2 different hotels. Your luggage is transported by the service car.

Breakfast, lunch snacks and dinner are included and partially cooked by our own kitchen where restaurants are not available. Drinks are not included.

Participation with your own buggy

Damages on the rental buggy

We do not charge for normal wear of the bike (like scratches on the plastics). On this tour an insurance (CDW – Crash ‘Damage Waiver) is available which covers damages on the bike. See the terms of business for details.

Management of the tour

A tour manager will welcome you on arrival at the hotel and will be available throughout the whole tour.

Equipment and gear

We recommend taking a second set of outdoor clothes with you.

Payment conditions 

Deposit 2.000 EUR at booking. The remaining rest is required 60 days before tour start.
