Tunisia Star Wars

- Duration: 8 Days
- Location: Tunis
Highlights
Tunisia offers spectacular landscapes and showcases the Sahara, one of the most incredible regions in the world. A very tourist-friendly country, Tunisia is also one of the safest in the region.
One fact not everyone knows is that the original Star Wars was filmed in Tunisia! On this tour we will visit many well-known locations from the film, including the canyon that served as the Dune Sea and the home of Luke Skywalker.
Why we like this tour
On this adventure, we'll experience the real beauty of Tunisia, traveling off the beaten path to find the most amazing tracks. The tour will occur in stages day-to-day, meaning we will spend each night in a different location - variety is the spice of life, after all!
Once we are deep into the Sahara, we will officially be "off the grid" - outside the range of any mobile network and away from civilization, leaving us to manage on our own. We'll spend two days in the desert, staying overnight in camps and dining on handmade food cooked by locals and nomads from the region.
During this time we'll have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience being virtually alone among the dunes of the Sahara, at peace and removed from the modern world.
Once we're out of the desert, we'll have the chance to witness the Star Wars saga first-hand, observing real leftover movie sets and taking in the wonderful Tunisian scenery that represented Tatooine in the film.
